The World Reimagined: Inspire Session – The Power of Creative Engagement

The arts and creativity have been at the heart of every great movement of social change. They enable us to connect with subjects in countless different ways – with meaning, joy and challenge. Creative engagement is an approach to community engagement that uses creative tools and artistic experiences to help diverse stakeholders imagine new approaches to planning processes and spark creative problem solving. Featuring our Artistic Director Ashley Shaw-Scott Adjaye, poet and educator Keisha Thompson, and artist and workshop leader Birungi Kawooya this session will help you develop an understanding of creative practices that you can use to drive engagement with your community.
