I am so excited to be holding a free collage #workshop inspired by the gorgeous cover art of the new Akwaeke Emezi book, You Made a Fool of Death with Your Beauty on Saturday 28 May in Brixton! The book was sensational, heart wrenching, sexxxyy and tragic. I love feeling many things and Emezi portrayed the complexity and messiness of life, love and death.

💖 A collage workshop with @birungiart – 1pm

💖 A book club session with a discussion dedicated to romance novels by Black writers hosted by @natfiawoo of @africawritesuk – 4pm

💖 Spoken word performances with @poeticunity – featuring @magero_tbh
