Portraying the comfort, safety and divinity of Black sisterhood, the work is inspired by the poster of the sensational NT production Three Sisters. As one sister rests, the other two sisters embrace and protect her. Their golden Afros become halos against the inky blue batik sky. The jewel tones radiate a celestial quality and grace. This is an A3 fine art print of an original hand-cut mixed-media collage.

The artwork was featured in Stylist Magazine’s “The Drop”.

Natural white cotton watercolour paper akin to traditional etching paper. The paper is cotton based, unbleached and made to museum archival specifications. The inks used are premium quality Epson Ultrachrome K3 pigmented inks. These inks are remarkably stable and under normal conditions will not fade for 100 years and beyond.
